Lucy Died A G.O.O.D Death

Lucy's death was a difficult problem during the editing process as our piers and teachers could not see it clearly, and G.O.O.D had to change the Opacity eight times at most. It did cause problems as the aim was for the shot to be dark, but it was brightened here are is the shot in two different stages and the final stage. Another thing G.O.O.D did not add was David noting something wrong, because in the trailer you see Petrov killing Lucy and David entering right away, but Alex and Charlie feel that the audience would understand that it was after Petrov left he would have entered.

Looking Forward To It G.O.O.D

Here is a tracking and panning shot of Petrov played by our lead Editor Charlie Morgan. We had to re arrange our class room so it looked like a drug war lords house with the Russian and american effect with the Glass bottles around the cigarette in the hand, so we really thought of the mise-en-scene and the dress style. Charlie edited a the shot and Alex performed the shot. it was shot many times trying to find the best on to use, and in the trailer it builds the suspense  to the film which looked amazing in the final edit.

G.O.O.D Pelican STALK

Here is the Pelican Stalk shot in its final edit, the shot was taken by Alex and edited by Charlie another shot that had impact on the film and the shot was really thought of by the members of G.O.O.D its a typical shot you see in most drug war lord films, when the police are watching the bad guy on a camera 'stalking' and G.O.O.D could relate to this in the film trailer.

G.O.O.D Hospital

This shot was again filmed in London outside a hospital, and G.O.O.D tried to get across that Frank was leaving  the hospital when his friend was admitted after an encounter at Petrov's Mansion when his team performed a breach in the capture of Petrov. The shot was an Establish shot that panned from the sky to Frank walking down the stairs, the shot was amazing as it linked between the film and it showed Franks depression.

The G.O.O.D Progression

G.O.O.D is currently working on a news report scene that will be filmed on green screen. It will be short but still has to be taken seriously just like any other shot. A moving background will be put on the background to show that G.O.O.D has done research into News reports on T.V and through the internet. As many of the news reporters are female we decided to go with a girl. In the shot the news reporter will be explaining that Petrov Kane the villain in our film trailer has escaped from prison. The shot will be no less long than 10 seconds.

Ending Credits 'G.O.O.D Title'

G.O.O.D has edited ending credits with the actors name in after effects Which again was led by Charlie Morgan. This effect is in every film trailer we see in the cinema or at home on YouTube.  G.O.O.D kept it conventional by keeping the same typography and throughout and looked at many other action film fonts and this shows in the motion animation edited. It took G.O.O.D 3-4 hours to produce the title credit to their satisfaction. Here are the clips G.O.O.D produced and research they did into the font style they wanted.
Here is the Charlie Morgan Title

Here is the David Titile as you can see it is the same as the Charlie Morgan Title to keep it continuous through out.

Here is the "Coming Soon" Title, again just the same as the other two.

Now This one was ifferent to the others as it is this had bullets shooting the title and is our main title and it worked really well, it is also conventinal to our genre.

This is when the film will be realesed, G.O.O.D will change some things around as this is just a draft. Still G.O.O.D have kept their stlye consistant through out and have put alot of effort into creating them.

Here is an example of a conventional trailer that has the same feel as the G.O.O.D film and the title credits of the chracters names. Also they way the trailer is layed out with film companies name coming up first then a clip of film then the logo of the 'Expandables' trailer. At the end, the credits have the summer 2012 credits but the layout is different form G.O.O.D's so G.O.O.D will have to strip there end credit and move a few text around.

Here the titles are moving like the G.O.O.D titles, and G.O.O.D members Alex & Charlie feel its better that the title credit move reather than just show it self as a 2d image because it will give the audience the sense of exitment and it shows that G.O.O.D have looked and studied other credits and looked at that one particular genre which is the 'action' genre and they all have that 3D text. It is also consistant through out the trailer just like G.O.O.D's trailer credits. Also it goes with the films feel with the streaks at the back like car lights speeding of, and G.O.O.D has that same feel with the bullets shooting the title.
