We Have A G.O.O.D Draft No.3

The Pelican Hunter is around the corner of virtually being finished, all that is left to do is tidy the editing up and the video, but I am proud to say, as well as my piers, that the video looks brilliant. G.O.O.D had they doubts about where there video was and if the concept and the shots they took were right for the film, however i had to give the go ahead and this is what was produced.
The things that need to be tided up are, the rewind when you see the text and we have not added the 15 certificate. Also when it blacks out i added a heart beat sound which needs to be placed in before David shots on the last shot. And the opacity needs to be raised.

The Film Effects Are Really G.O.O.D

The effects play a big part in G.O.O.D’s film, epically being an action film and the digital age moving forward it had to be used in the film. The reason for this is the audience now go to see films for the effects and the way it used. In all action films there will be uses of effects, and the programme for the effect is called Adobe after Effects, which the top film studios all use. Here are a few examples of effects that will be incorporated in G.O.O.D’s film.
This effect was created on Adobe Affter Effetcs and is just an example of moving bullet in which we used in our Film title at the end credits.
Here is the Example of the bullets in motion with the title.
Another Example of the Bullets.
Here is another effect done on Affter Effects which is used in the shot of Petrov on the phone talking to Frank, with the cigarette in his hands.

Here is another effect that has been edited in Affter effects, this has not been used in the film trailer yet but its the type of effect that is used in the film trailer, i.e. building exploding, windows burning.

Never Mess With G.O.O.D

Here is a Text Charlie edited on the trailer with the idea from Alex & Matt. It is a moving image text which would attract audience's because technology has moved forward so we did not want it to look armature. We changed this a couple of times as our teacher said it should be punchy and straight to the point so in the end G.O.O.D stayed with 'Never take from a man who has NOTHING to lose' which is in the final trailer.

That’s Some G.O.O.D Gun Shots

In this Shot Frank is assembling his Guns ready for battle against Petrov Kane and his Hench men. The shot had to be really quick but had to have impact, as it was the driving point for the start of the film to its climax. For the gun assembling there was 8 takes, but G.O.O.D had to scrap it as we wanted the ambience to be dark as it would better suit the films feel. So Alex shined a light on the weapons as Frank was assembling it and it worked much better. As well as that the standard shot of Frank looking over his gun worked really well as it gives a chance to show Frank status through the film and his anger to find Petrov Kane and kill him. The panning shot of the guns was Alex’s idea as it gave a chance to see the weapons in a professional way and most action films would show the hero going into battle and assembling their guns before hand, which is another convention and that includes reception theory that giving the audience what their use to in action movies, which is the use of guns, explosions etc.
G.O.O.D Shot
Here is a perfect example of the guns layed across the table and a panning shot from underneath.

I’m Going To Take You Down In G.O.O.D Pieces

This shot was filmed in Bilton Rd again and it was a 360 shot of Frank on the phone to Petrov Kane telling him he is going to take him down in pieces. During the editing a flare was added to the lens which gives the film more depth and makes it seem like a big production instead of A-Level students filming. The shots in the film ‘300’ were what G.O.O.D wanted to adapt in their own film and the saturation used in 300 is also what G.O.O.D went for. The way the shots have been used is shown throughout our trailer and that is generic to our film trailer in terms of genre and iconography.

Here is the shot

Here is the 300 trailer you will see simular feature's to our shot above ^ and the saturation aswell.

So far the everything has gone well, G.O.O.D have filmed alot and are coming to an end of production, but still have a couple of shots left to do. Here is a rough draft of what they have so far.....
Here is the Draft but it is not quite up to date, a few changes have been made since this. the voice overs need to be done, shots are missing and somev of the shots need to ber tightend.

'G.O.O.D Shard Shot Guys'

For the Shard shot of Frank zip lining down, G.O.O.D recorded the shard from different angles, and then used a green screen for David as he had to pretend he was coming down a building, G.O.O.D researched the film Mission Impossible 4 were Tom Cruise is zip lining down a very tall building located in Dubai. We thought this shot would work really well with the film as every action film would have a climax or a car exploding or bulidings falling down, and it shows that G.O.O.D have thought about the genre in depth, and why they decided to put this sort of shot and stunt, to put in the film. It was a thought through shot and G.O.O.D had to plan it out before they actually tried it. In the end G.O.O.D got the shots they needed, and edited them on Adobe After effects which Charlie edited and Alex created the sounds for it which will be shown in the film trailer. Though it still has some work on it here is a draft of what was created. To see a tutorial on how the edit was perfomed go to 8259TrinitySchoolCharlieMorgan.
Here is the stunt trial, it looks really effective and really is a brilliant shot and edited well. Only thing is G.O.O.D must tidy the shot up and add the SFX.

Here is the M.I.4 trailer, and at the end of the trailer you see him perform the zip line stunt, obviously as we are just A-level student we could not do it for real, However G.O.O.D have worked hard to have a good quality. This trailer is also conventinal and meets G.O.O.D'S genre bridge. So this was the best example choosen by the G.O.O.D memebers.
Here some Pictures that were taken and Photoshoped
