Love Is G.O.O.D In The Air

This is one of the first shots that G.O.O.D members Alex & Charlie shot. The aim was to get the London shots done so they would not have to go there again. Here is the Shot that consists of the main character and his girlfriend Lucy who later on in the film gets shot by Petrov Kane the notorious, ruthless villain in our film trailer The shot was a standard shot of the two together, G.O.O.D did not want it to be too long so it was a small clip in the final edit when we cut it down.

G.O.O.D FIGHT SCENE EDITED

The fight scene took place in a truck stop area near Alex's area. The fight consists of our main actor and one of our fellow piers, we used him as he was tall as well as his ego, and G.o.o.d tried to get across the big bad guy in the movie which is typical in most action films such as, 'Kiss of the dragon', Wolverine and Wanted. Though we shoot a lot of shot we had to cut it down and put it in different sections of the film trailer. Here are the shots in different stages and edited.

G.O.O.D Run

Though this is just a short clip it was still a vital shot that needed to link in the film. It also was conventional to the film trailer as many action movies will have a shot of the main character running from something crashing, falling or a bad guy. Here is a small clip that has been edited by adding a silver filter which gives it that movie effect aswell as raising the opacity to make the shot lighter.

The G.O.O.D Fight

Alex found a place where he lived called Bilton Rd in which was a long road and was perfect to film a fight scene. G.O.O.D had to find the perfect ‘big henchman’ and in the end they choose Tayo Adeboye, a fellow media student. Charlie & Alex then had to call the police, to inform them that they were going to be using guns. Even though there was no one round the area G.O.O.D still had to call just for confirmation. G.O.O.D members Charlie & Alex then drove down to Bilton Rd with the Cast then filmed a series of shots. The basic idea was Frank was under attack by the big Hench men and they were firing back and forth, they then made their way to fight each other, which was Choreographed by Charlie & Alex, as it had to be realistic as possible. The area chosen was also though about as it had to be conventinal to the genre, and this includes reception theory where G.O.O.D are thinking about Mise-En-Scene and are giving the audience what they want and expect form an action movie.
Alex also added sounds to the clip which was done a music software called Fruity Loops or ‘FL Studios’ as Alex’s produces outside of school for UK artists. He automated the sound effects to make them sound as real as possible and changed the bass and texture of the sound. Throughout the whole movie trailer he had to add reverb and bass boost to give that movie feel to it as you see in other trailers such as, Expendables, Wrath of the Titans and Man On The Ledge. A later tutorial will be shown on how he produced the sounds.
If You listen to the way the voice has that echo to it, and the sounds of sirens and trains are used in the film have all been edited to bring the trailer to a climax as all trailers do, and this is what G.O.O.D will be showing in there film trailer.
Here is another example of different sounds, again the use of police sirens and guns. Though this shot of G.O.O.D's film is long they will obviously cut it short so the sound will be in contrast with the other sounds together, so that it would all work well.

Its a G.O.O.D News Report (Alex 'Arcade', Charlie Morgan & Matt Bell)

Here is the clip Alex & Charlie filmed for the news report. It was a standard shot, as Alex & Charlie did not have to do any panning or tracking as all news reports have steaded camera. Alex had to do research into News reports even though it was a 5 seconded clip in our film we had to research other news reports and how they layout there templates around them. Mise-en-scene was vital for the shot as the news reporter had to dress appropriately had to be formal and had to have the right script, which Charlie & Alex took care of. For the background moving Image Alex Filmed a boat when they were in London it was a moving image and this is conventional to other news reports as they would have a green screen image behind them then the editor would use an moving image behind them.

Here is the research Alex & Charlie looked into in order to produce there shot.
